Guide
This follows the Ukrainian Year 5 book: section 1, item 3 "The segment. Length of a segment" and item 4 "The plane. Line. Ray". The child answers from the picture: choosing an answer or typing a number.
Points are named with capital Latin letters. The shortest line joining the points A and B is the segment AB. Two segments are equal if they coincide when laid on each other, and equal segments have equal lengths. If a point C lies on the segment AB, then AB = AC + CB.
The length of the segment AB is called the distance between the points A and B. Exactly one line passes through two points: children use this when they draw a line with a ruler.
