الدليل
In the Ukrainian Grade 1 programme (NUSH) each number from 6 to 9 is learned on its own: its composition, its next and previous number. For example 7 is 6 and 1 more, and also 5 and 2, 4 and 3. This prepares the addition and subtraction tables.
The counters in the ten-frame lie in two rows of 5, so you can see that 8 is 5 and 3 more. Tap a counter to change its colour, or an empty place to add a counter.
The number zero appears when all the objects are taken away: 5 − 5 = 0. If you take nothing away or add nothing, the number does not change: 6 − 0 = 6, 6 + 0 = 6.
