Guide
This studio follows Iran's Year 9 chapter on sets and Afghanistan's Year 7 chapter: elements, the Venn diagram, subsets, union, intersection, difference of sets, the universal set, the complement, and finite and infinite sets. In England, KS3 asks pupils to enumerate sets and unions and intersections with Venn diagrams.
Your child moves the cards by dragging them, or by tapping a card and then its place. With a keyboard, choose a card, then a button for a part of the diagram.
Common mistakes this studio works on: thinking the order of the elements matters, treating the empty set as {0}, mixing up ∈ and ⊆, thinking A ∩ B′ is the same as B ∩ A′, and counting the overlap twice in A ∪ B.
