Guide
This studio is about the Haus der Vierecke. Pictures are drawn on dotty paper, so lengths can be counted.
A trapezium has at least one pair of parallel sides. A parallelogram has two pairs; a rectangle and a rhombus are special parallelograms, and a square is both. The kite is separate: two pairs of equal neighbouring sides.
Symmetry sorts the house: point-symmetric are parallelogram, rectangle, rhombus and square; axis-symmetric are the kite, the isosceles trapezium, the rectangle, the rhombus and the square.
