- التفاضل والتكاملRolle, l'Hôpital and Maclaurin seriesFind where the tangent is horizontal, find the point of the mean value theorem, take a 0/0 limit with derivatives and find a coefficient of the Maclaurin series of cosh x.
- التفاضل والتكاملEstimating area, Riemann sums and the trapezium ruleEstimate the area under y = x² with thin rectangles and with trapezia, and see which number the estimates head for as the strips get narrower.
- التفاضل والتكاملFrom antiderivative to definite integralFind an antiderivative and see why +C is needed, evaluate a definite integral with F(b) − F(a), find the mean value of a function and meet the integral of ١x.
- التفاضل والتكاملMethods of integrationChange the variable and the limits together, integrate by parts, split a fraction into partial fractions, pick a trigonometric substitution and decide whether an improper integral has a value.
- التفاضل والتكاملAreas, volumes and arc lengths by integrationUse the التكامل المحدد to find the area under a curve and between two curves, a volume of revolution, an arc length and a polar area.
- التفاضل والتكاملDifferential equationsWrite a rate of change as a differential equation, find the solution y = Cekx on a graph and solve a separable equation with a starting condition.
- التفاضل والتكاملCurve sketching and optimisationFind the asymptotes and key points of a graph, then use a maximum to solve problems such as the largest area and the largest volume.
- الأشكال والهندسةإضافي: ليس في كتبك المدرسيةConic sections: slicing a coneCut a cone with different planes and see where the circle, ellipse, parabola and hyperbola come from. Then see what the ratio of the distance to a focus and to a directrix builds.
