Read and write two-unit measures (325 cm = 3 m 25 cm), choose a suitable unit and read half a centimetre on the ruler.

Sometimes we write a measure with two units: 325 cm is 3 m and 25 cm, because 1 m is 100 cm.
In the same way 3560 g is 3 kg and 560 g, because 1 kg is 1000 g.
We choose a suitable unit for each thing: a pencil in centimetres, the way to school in kilometres.
