Guide
This studio follows Iran's Year 2–3 lessons on chance: a bag of counters, a spinner and a dice. Your child guesses first, then tests the guess and looks at the results table. In England this is enrichment: probability is not in the KS2 curriculum.
The three key words: certain means it happens every time. Possible means it might happen or might not. Impossible means it never happens. A common mistake is to think that "most of them" means "certain". Missions 2 and 3 work on this.
The last mission writes a probability as a fraction: 1 way out of 6 equally likely ways is 16. Results change a little each time, and that is normal. With more rolls, the results get closer to 16.
